In order to review the operational preparedness of the soldiers along the Northern Borders, the Lt Gen RP Singh, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-Chief of the Western Command of Indian Army, visited Tripeak Brigade from 02 to 04 Oct 2019.

Apart from taking stock of the situation, the Army Commander interacted with the Jawans and officials of Indian Army & ITBP troops at various forward posts. The Army Commander also appreciated their creative efforts and hard work in maintaining strict vigil across the region. He also commended the cooperation between the two forces. This was the Army Commander’s maiden visit to the sector.
