In a late night administrative reshuffle affecting the finance and the power departments, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 10 senior most IAS officers in the state.
In an important change just before the last budget of the present Yogi Adityanath government this month, Additional chief secretary (ACS) vocational education S Radha Chauhan has been made the new ACS Finance replacing Sanjiv Mittal, who has been made ACS State taxes, officials here on Tuesday said.
In another important decision, Additional Chief Secretary, Power Department, Arvind Kumar has now been posted in the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department(IDC) and the current Principal secretary power M Deoraj has been promoted as chairman
and MD of UPPCL.
Recently there were reports of dispute between Arvind Kumar and state power minister Srikant Sharma over some issues.
ACS Medical Education Rajnish Dubey has been made ACS Urban Development department.
Principal Secretary Medical Health, Alok Kumar(Second) has been sent to Medical Education in the same capacity,
State Chief Secretary R K Tiwari has been given the additional charge of Infrastructure and Industrial Development commissioner, the spokesman added.
Present IDC Alok Kumar Sinha has been made ACS, commercial taxes.
Principal secretary Swacch mission Deepak Kumar will now continue as Principal secretary housing while sectary CM Alok Kumar (Third) will get additional charge of vocational education.
