The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred six Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 31 officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police. 

The official spokesperson said on Friday that Sanjay Kumar II, SP of Santakbirnagar has been made the Superintendent of Police of the Regional Notification in Varanasi while SP Brijesh Kumar Singh of Lalitpur has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Railway Gorakhpur.

He said that SP Kamlesh Kumar Dixit of Auraiya has been sent to the post of Superintendent of Police, Regional Information, Gorakhpur, while SP Prakash Swaroop Pandey of Chitrakoot has been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police, AD Commissioner of Commerce, Lucknow.

SP and Additional Superintendent of Police, Mathura, Uday Shankar Singh has been sent to Prayagraj as the commander of 42nd Corps PAC. Superintendent of Police Regional Notification Varanasi Superintendent of Police Surendra Bahadur has been transferred as Superintendent of Police at Director General of Police Headquarters.

Apart from this, 31 Additional Superintendents of Police have been taken from here.
