As many as 30 projects worth Rs 413.63 crores have been sanctioned so far this year in various North Eastern states under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS), Ministry of Development of North-East Region (DoNER), a Ministry data showed.
The 30 projects include 17 health projects worth Rs 231.19 cr, sanctioned for strengthening health infrastructure of NE states and combating outbreak of Covid-19, the DoNER Minister said on Wednesday.
The Ministry also said since January 1, 2021 Rs 841.80 cr were released to the NE states under various schemes of the Ministry, including NESIDS and special packages for Assam.
