The Telangana government on Friday decided to conduct a free screening of corona virus at railway stations, bus stands, malls and other public places to control the global epidemic corona infection in the state.

Director of Public Health (DPH) Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao said after holding a review meeting with all the district medical and health officials that the Health Department would set up testing centers at places of mass celebrations to bring all the people under scrutiny.

The present state of Corona has 1096 focused investigation centers. He said that about 70 percent of corona patients in the state have no symptoms of corona and that such people need to be identified as soon as possible to prevent the virus from spreading.

The Health Director said that ASHA and ANM personnel would be engaged in these works, who would go door to door to check the symptoms of corona in people.
