Sensex crosses 49 thousand for the first time

On the buying by investors excited by the progress towards Kovid-19 vaccination in the country, the order of strength in the domestic stock markets continued on Monday and the BSE 30-share Sensex index Sensex for the first time was 40 thousand. Reached the top of the score.
The National Stock Exchange's Nifty also managed to cross the psychological level of 14,400 points.
The Sensex gained 469.80 points to open at 49,252.31 points. It reached the 49 thousand mark during trading for the first time. At one point in early trading it also reached 49,269.02 points. At the time of writing the news, it was at 49,223.36 points at a strength of 440.85 points i.e. 0.90 percent.
The Nifty also gained 126.80 points to open at 14,474.05 and reached 14,479.70. At the time of writing the news, it stood at 14,451.75 points, an increase of 104.50 i.e. 0.73 per cent.
The Sensex also saw a boom in banking and auto groups along with IT and tech companies. Infosys shares rose five percent.
