The country's stock market opened up sharply on Monday amid positive reports about the Corona vaccine. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex opened at 282 and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty gained 86 points.
The BSE Sensex opened at 44164.17, a strong 281.92 against Friday's closing of 43882.25, and after initially climbing to 44271.15, is currently 213.11 points higher at 44095.36.
The Nifty also opened at 12960.30 points at the start of trading and is trading at 64 points at 12923.05 points after climbing 12961.20 points in high.
