The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to hear a PIL seeking welfare policy for migrants in Delhi in the wake of novel Coronavirus crisis.
A bench, led by Justice Ashok Bhushan, said 'We have already dealt with this in our Suo motu cognisance plea.'
"We are not inclined to hear this matter at present," the Top Court said.
The bench, also comprising Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, observed, this is a publicity interest litigation not a public interest litigation.
He also asked petitioner, as to which place does he (the petitioner) belong to? To this, he replied, he belongs to Telangana.
Justice Kaul, said, look, you belong to Telangana, but you are very much worried for Delhi people.
