Oil marketing companies on Wednesday increased petrol prices by 15 paise and diesel by 25 paise per liter. Today, the price of petrol in Delhi has increased by 15 paise and the price of diesel by 23 paise per liter. The prices of both fuels today were Rs 82.49 and diesel Rs 72.65 per liter respectively.
Petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai rose by 14 paise to Rs 89.16 per liter and diesel by 25 paise to Rs 79.22 per liter. In Kolkata, the price of petrol has increased by 15 paise to Rs 84.02 per liter and the price of diesel has increased by 23 paise to Rs 76.22 per liter. Petrol-diesel prices have also increased in Chennai. Petrol price increased by 13 paise to Rs 85.44 per liter and diesel price increased by 22 paise to Rs 78.06 per liter.
