Police finds unique way to punish youth roaming outside, clicks selfie

To shame lockdown offenders, especially the youth, the Karveer police of Kolhapur has found a unique way of taking selfies with them but not before garlanding them at Juna Kalamba Naka point here.

DYSP Dr. Prashant Amrutkar has erected a 'Selfie Point' at Juna Kalamba Naka in Kalamba village near Kalamba jail, outskirts of the city, with digital boards, reading 'Hoy Saheb Mi Chuklo, Mi Bejababdar aahe, Mi Selfish' ( yes sir, I made mistake, I am responsible and selfish).

Police detain the wandering youth, garland them, making them hold the board and ask them to say aloud ''I am responsible, I am selfish, I know that if I come out on the road then Coronavirus will infect me".
