PM Modi Kicks off Campaign for Upcoming Delhi Assembly Polls

Amid the chants and slogans, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, kicked off BJP’s campaign for upcoming assembly elections at Ramlila ground in Delhi. PM Modi addressed massive rally and appealed the massive to support the sacred mission of the saffron party. He said that the unity in diversity was the hallmark of India.

“This (Ramlila Maidan) is a historic place. I can see an end to uncertainties on your faces,” he said to the residents of unauthorized colonies.

Criticizing the Congress Party, PM Modi said that the Congress party had given land to the VVIPs, while his party gave land to the people of Delhi. Consequently, he attacked also attacked the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government and said that the AAP government did nothing to provide the residents with clean water.

“Almost 25 km of new metro route added annually in last five years, it was 14 km earlier. In the last five years, we’ve made unprecedented development in Delhi Metro. We also built the Peripheral Expressway to decongest Delhi,” PM Modi said.

He assured the masses that nobody would be deprived of their rights. “Some political parties are spreading rumors. They are misleading people and inciting them. As such, I want to ask those party men, when we authorized the unauthorized colonies? Did we ask anyone his/her religion? Did we ask which political party they support? Did we ask for documents from 1970, 1980?” PM Modi added.

“Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians etc… all were befitted, everyone who lives here was benefitted. We have never asked anyone if he goes to temple or mosque when it comes to implementing our schemes. We are dedicated to the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’,” PM Modi stressed.
