PM Modi, Bangladesh PM Jointly Unveils Multipronged Bilateral Projects in New Delhi

Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Bangladesh PM, Sheikh Hasina, have on Saturday jointly inaugurated three bilateral projects through video conferencing including one on import of bulk LPG from Bangladesh.
Two
other projects include the Vivekananda Bhavan at Ramakrishna Mission in Dhaka
and the Bangladesh-India Professional Skill Development Institute, a facility
to benefit small and medium enterprises at the Institute of Diploma Engineers.
This
apart, India and Bangladesh have signed seven agreements in New Delhi in
several areas including education.
Following
bilateral talks between Prime Minister, Modi and Hasina, at Hyderabad House in
New Delhi, they exchanged MoUs.
“The projects inaugurated today – in LPG import, vocational training, and social facility – have the common goal of improving the conditions of the common people. The foundation of India-Bangladesh ties is the welfare of the common man”, PM Modi said in his statement. He added that Vivekananda Bhavan at Ramakrishna Mission would house more than 100 university students.
