Oil prices rise for sixth consecutive day

Government oil marketing companies have increased the price of petrol and diesel for the sixth consecutive day on Monday, due to which diesel in the commercial city of Mumbai today is Rs 80 per liter and petrol price is more than Rs 90 per liter done.

Today, petrol is costlier by 30 to 33 paise and diesel by 25 to 31 paise per liter in four major metros of the country. Petrol in Delhi today reached Rs 83.71 per liter and diesel reached Rs 73.87 per liter. Petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai is Rs 90.34 and diesel is Rs 80.51 per liter. Chennai prices are 86.51 and 79.21 per liter respectively. Petrol price in Kolkata has been increased to Rs 85.19 and diesel to Rs 77.44 per liter.
