Indore based Non-Resident Indians (NRIS) from UAE, UK and US
have now come forward to help the government in preventing spread of
Coronavirus disease in Indore and suburban areas.
Apart from making the
citizens aware about the disease, these NRIs are distributing high quality face
protection shield (mask) among the masses.
It all could be possible
only after a group of three Indore based engineers, all GSITS alumni, conceptualized
this face protection shield and discussed this unique concept with their NRI friends.
“Initially, our main
target is to distribute this quality protection shield among the government
officials, especially those exerting their efforts in preventing and protecting
the citizens from such deadly disease. Primarily, we have distributed this product among the
police officials, administrative authorities, journalist, doctors and few
others”, said Ashish Saxena, who along with his two other Engineer friends
including Vaibhav Nagori and Anand Ingle, invented this product to serve the
people in Indore.
“We have to distribute
this face protection shield among more than 5000 beneficiaries free of cost in
Indore”, Saxena said adding that recently he had discussions with the concerned
Government authorities, who appreciated their initiatives in this regard.
“As of today, we have
already distributed more than 1000 such masks among the government officials,
doctors and journalists”, said Saxena.
Speaking to the Observer
Dawn, over the telephone, a Dubai based NRI, Chandrashekhar Bhatia said, “Our
main motive is to help the government officials in preventing the spread of
this deadly virus in the country. Hence, the creative efforts of our fellow
NRIs, majorities of them are from UAE, cannot be ignored. The team has received
major financial cooperation from another UAE based businessman, Ajay Kasliwal”.
