Manish Sisodia takes charge of Health Ministry as Satyendar Jain Tests Positive for Corona

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday temporarily took the charge of the health ministry and other departments allocated to Health Minister Satyendar Jain after the latter tested positive for Coronavirus.

Mr. Jain was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi (RGSSH) on Monday night with high-grade fever and a sudden drop in oxygen levels. He tested positive for the infection on Wednesday. His samples had tested negative first test on Tuesday.

Mr. Sisodia will handle the Health portfolio until Mr. Jain returns to work.
