Keep the environment pollution free using nanotechnology

The two-day National Conference on Nanotechnology and Environment at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur concluded on Friday. The program was conducted by the Department of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) and Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. In this, the experts of the country and abroad gave their views on nanotechnology and environment. In it, experts explained how the environment can be made pollution free by using nanotechnology. In the conference, topics of bio-energy, graphene, carbon-carbon composites, pollution control with the help of nanotechnology were discussed in various lecture sessions.
On the second day of the conference, Dr. Dhananjay of IET Lucknow, as the keynote speaker, spoke in detail on how to make the environment pollution free using technology. He said that solar energy can be used for purifying water. With this, the environment can also be kept pollution free along with saving electricity. You can also save energy. He informed that electricity and other energy is being used in the water purifying plant. Solar energy can be used instead. Clean water will be available at less cost, as well as the environment will not get any harm from it. At the same time, SC Sahu of Kolkata IPIRTI Kolkata told how to do nanotechnology in wood composition.
The winners of various sessions of the technical presentation were honored at the closing ceremony. The winners included Dr. Pradeep of IET Lucknow, Shahid Ansari of ICT Mumbai, Raghavendra Thakur of GGU Bilaspur, NIT. Neha Pandey of Raipur, Manu, Akanksha Sharma, Vinayak Sahu, Sneha Tomar, Ritika Singh and Kedo Suresh Kumar, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Raipur were also included. Dr. AB Soni - Dean Faculty Welfare, Dr. VK Singh - Head of Department of Chemical Engineering, Dr. AK Punia and Dr. Suresh Kumar of Mechanical Engineering Department and Dr. Vivek Gaba were also present on the occasion.
A total of 57 research papers were presented in this two-day conference. Of this, 12 presentations were also submitted via Skype. Also, all the papers accepted at the conference will be published in the SCI Scopus Index Special Journal of the Indian Chemical Society.
