The saffron party has on Wednesday said that the former Congress President, Rahul Gandhi, is adopting a very irresponsible attitude towards the nation. It all is happening when entire nation is suffering from Corona crisis.

By doing all these, the Congress leader is just playing with the morale of the people and trying to mislead the masses just for political gains, the senior BJP leaders claimed on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media in New Delhi on Wednesday, the senior BJP leader and the Union Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, said, “The Congress leader’s series of comments, since March 2020, has shown his irresponsible attitude, where he has attempted to mislead the country for his political advantage”. The Union Minister also referred a series of comments made by the Congress leader since the Coronavirus started spreading its wing across the country. He added, entire country stood with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in this difficult times of pandemic.

Prassad added, “We are success in our mission but the Congress leader is leaving no stone unturned in pulling down the morale of the people to gain political advantage. If he claims to be a real leader, Rahul Gandhi must stand for the nation as well as the people living here, especially in the time of crisis”.

“Total population of 15 major countries of the world affected by Corona, excluding China, is 142 crore and in those countries till date 3,43,562 people have died while 4,345 deaths took place in India with population of 137 crore”, the Union Minister said adding that over 61,239 people have recovered in the country as of now. Referring to the statements and tweets of Rahul Gandhi, he said that he praised supporters of Kashmir’s ‘freedom’ and terrorism. The Congress leader recently congratulated some journalists associated with Associated Press for winning the Pulitzer prize over their photos in Jammu and Kashmir. But here is what AP said was the aim of the photos – independence of the region.
