Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Z Flip in India. This is the second foldable display flagship from Samsung. Earlier, the company launched Galaxy Fold. This smartphone is quite different from Galaxy Fold. After using this smartphone for some time, let us tell you how we liked this smartphone.
The price of Galaxy Z Flip in India is 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees. Pre booking for this has started on 21 February i.e. from today and its sale will start from 26 February. Galaxy Z Flip is a compact smartphone. By closing it becomes very small and it is quite easy to use it. Its display turns and it can be used for many features by turning it at 90 degrees. For video calling, you can keep it on the table and fold it 90 degrees.
The design and build quality is superb. The back panel of the phone is fingerprint magnets. As soon as you use it, your fingerprints are put on it, which you can clean. It has been introduced with three fancy color variants. This fashion-centric smartphone is seen more.
This phone gives the same feel on opening and closing as the old flip phones used to give. You will hear a flip sound. Even the phone seems durable, but you have to save it with a sharp object. When keeping in pocket, keep away from coins or keys.
The Galaxy Z Flip also has a hinge like the Galaxy Fold, which is a must for any foldable smartphone. It is smooth and the company has claimed that you can run for five years without any trouble.
The specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip are high end. This smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and runs on Android 10 based One UI 2. This smartphone has 256GB of internal storage with 8GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Z Flip has a foldable dynamic super AMOLED display. After opening, its screen is 6.7 inches and it also has support for HDR 10+.
On closing this smartphone, there is a cover screen which is quite small. Its size is 1.1 inches and it is Super AMOLED. It is also a touch screen display. Bezels have been given around the display and this is the reason.
Do not accidentally leave your hand on the screen while unfolding the fold. This has also been done for this reason. You will get used to it while using it, then it will not be a problem.After closing, you can see the time and notification in the cover display. On receiving the call, you will get a notification from where you can connect or disconnect the call. There are two ways to take this smartphone selfie.
The first way is to close the phone and click the selfie from the rear camera. For this, your cover display will have to be used. The cover display can be used as a viewfinder. For this, the home button has to be used. There is a physical home button on the side of the phone which also has a fingerprint scanner.
The second way to take a selfie is the selfie camera given in the front screen. The company has claimed that it is the world's first foldable smartphone that has a punchhole display. After opening the phone, you can take a selfie from the front camera.
To make video calling, you can use the phone half-fold and keep it on the table. The screen splits. Even if you have to write something, you can use it by doing split screen in this way.
Obviously, clicking Close Selfie makes the photos good, because then its primary rear camera is being used.
Talking about the camera specs given in the Galaxy Z Flip, here are two rear cameras. One is 12 megapixels wide and the other is 12 megapixels ultra wide. For selfie, it has a 10 megapixel fivehole camera.
As a first impression, for now we can only say that its camera is good. Some indoor photos are of clicks in which it performs well. It will be clear only after a full review that you can use it as a camera phone or not.

The Galaxy Z Flip has a side mounted fingerprint scanner and does not have a jack. If the size of its cover display was slightly larger, it could have been even more handy. This smartphone has not even got an IP rating, that is, this smartphone can be bad if you get wet.
