In Russia, all 150 volunteers over the age of 60 have been given the first dose of the Epivaccorona vaccine, while 89 volunteers have already been given a second injection.
Public health monitoring organization 'Rospotrebnadjor' gave this information on Tuesday. The first five volunteers over 60 years of age in the country were vaccinated on 21 November. He was under medical supervision for 24 hours after being injected.
Rospotrebnadzor reported that as of December 27, all 150 volunteers had been given the first dose of the Epivaccorona vaccine while 89 volunteers had been given the second dose.
The organization said that a report on the trials after the vaccine was given to senior volunteers would be submitted to the Ministry of Health in early February.
