Amidst further campaigning for by-elections in 28 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today said that he has faith in the Central Election Commission, but should also show complete impartiality.

Senior Congress leader Shri Singh said through tweet that due to Kovid the decision of not giving the list of posters (postal ballot) candidates to candidates is beyond comprehension. In a series of tweets, he said that the Election Commission should not leave any scope for any kind of doubt anywhere. A fair Election Commission is the success of every democracy.

Earlier yesterday, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner alleging that police and other government officials are helping the ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in many places during the by-elections. He has requested the Chief Election Commissioner to take necessary steps to conduct the elections in a fair and peaceful manner.
