During the last 24 hours in different parts of the country, 336 patients died of Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection, of which the most deaths occurred in Maharashtra, Delhi and West Bengal.
During this period, in Maharashtra, where 89 patients died due to Covid-19, 37 patients died in Delhi and 32 in West Bengal. According to the data released on Friday by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 23,068 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours, which has increased the number of infected to one crore one lakh 46 thousand. During this period 24,661 patients became healthy and with this the recovery rate increased to 95.77 percent. The number of active cases has been reduced by 1930 due to more number of people being coronated than new cases and their number has come down to 2,81,919. With the death of 336 more patients in the same period, the death toll has risen to 1,47,092 and the death rate remains at 1.45 per cent.
