Delhi's minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday.


The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its forecast said that the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.


On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 18.3 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal while the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.


The National Capital recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 304 at 0900 hrs on Thursday.


Delhi's 24-hour AQI was 283 on Wednesday, 404 on Tuesday, 372 on Monday and 347 on Sunday.


An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.
