Delhi Development Minister Gopal Rai on Wednesday said that the Delhi government was closely monitoring the distribution of ration and if any problem arises immediate action would be taken.
The Minister was inspecting a culvert construction site and ration distribution centre at Welcome Pulia, Janata Colony, Babarpur.
He said all the concerned departments of the Delhi government are keeping a close eye on the distribution of ration and if any problem comes to 'our notice we will immediately take the necessary action'.
Mr Rai said, "I have been inspecting several ration distribution centres at the Babarpur Vidhan Sabha constituency and today also I have come here to inspect one such Centre.'
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi government is providing ration to every citizen who has no ration card, Mr Rai said.
The Delhi government is ensuring every possible help in this time of the Covid pandemic, he said.
He said, "I have also inspected the construction site of a culvert at the welcome Pulia of Janta colony Babarpur. After talking to people I have got the report that right now they are not facing any problem in this ration distribution centres.
All the concerned departments of the Delhi government are keeping a close eye on the distribution of ration. If any problem comes to our notice we will immediately take the necessary action."
