The premier Research and Development wing of military technology in India, the Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO) has developed an automatic high pressure mist based hand sanitizer dispenser. This is contact less and it meets our requirements immediately.

The aim of this contactless sanitizer dispenser is to reduce human contact as much as possible. The TBRL, with help of local industries, has further optimized the Touch free Hand sanitizer to meet requirement of both COVID fighting doctors and general public at offices, factories, colleges, public places including homes. The TBRL designed and developed sanitizer machine dispenses the high pressure mist meet requirement of Donning and Doffing areas of COVID-19 patients handling hospitals and quarantine places, as it delivers sanitizer liquid to users hands as long as user keep hand below the delivery nozzle, Contrary to earlier/other devices which are timer based fixed volume delivery.

The TBRL & DRDO developed automatic sanitizer dispenser device has been demonstrated to PGI doctors Dr Pranay Gupta and Dr RR Guru handling COVID patients today at TBRL, Sector 30, Chandigarh. During operation & testing Dr RR Guru said that TBRL developed touch-free dispenser generates high pressure droplets that are able to enter in skin pores & nails tip and also there is no wastage of sanitizer. Because of pressurized mist they were even able to clean finest areas such as nail openings, that too with volume as small as 1-2 Milliliters. They were fully satisfied with the performance. Two models of varying capacity of 2 lit and 5 lit has been designed, as per the requirement they can be placed at offices, hospitals and even outside home. The quick response of the sensor not only ensures timely delivery of sanitizer mist but also reduces the wastage to literally zero.
