Centre is snatching railway from poor: Rahul Gandhi

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has accused the government of privatizing the railways, saying that this lifeline of the poor is also being snatched away from them.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Gandhi said,”Rail is the only lifeline of the poor and the government is taking it away from them. But remember - the people of the country will give a befitting reply.”

Along with this, he also posted a news clip, which said that the railways' big step towards privatization, private proposal asked for 109 private trains.
