“Ground level development of the tribal communities is on the priority list of Narendra Modi led BJP Government at center”, said Union Home Minister, Amit shah.

Shah was addressing the participants at ‘Aadi Mahotsav’, one of the National Tribal Festivals of India, in New Delhi on Saturday. Whenever, the BJP has come to power, the party has prioritized the welfare and all-around development of tribal communities, he said.

The theme of the 15-day Mahotsav is a celebration of the Spirit of Tribal Culture, Craft, Cuisine and Commerce.

Accusing the Congress party for using the tribal communities as a vote bank, Shah stressed that the party had neglected ground level development and welfare of tribals.

Speaking that there was a need to conserve and preserve the nature, Shah highlighted the outcome of the much publicized, Van Dhan Vikas Yojna, and said that the Yojna had transformed the lives of a large chunk of tribals.
